Officers Save Kitten on Golden Gate Bridge

Saturday was definitely “Caturday” for the California Highway Patrol.  Officers responded to a call regarding a kitten that was trapped on the moveable median near the south tower of the Golden Gate Bridge.  Traffic was blocked, and officers were able to retrieve the kitty after their second attempt.

Officer Smith brought the kitty to the VCA Madera Pet Hospital in Corte Madera where he was given an examination and a bath.  A temporary name of “Bridges” was given to the kitty since no identification or microchip were found on him.  Officer Smith has decided to foster Bridges and nurse him back to health until his owner can be found.  Please check out their Facebook page for more information.
